I've been tweaking some pictures that I took just to see what the effect looks like. It can be fun, but it can be quite time consuming. I wanted to post a couple to get some feedback.  I would welcome any comments you have.. be it yah or nay. Be honest. If you hate it, tell me. It's not something I would do to a portrait, but I find it interesting. It's fun trying new things and I'm always trying to improve.

Nice work - simple clean.
I like the raging river - would be even better with a strong foreground subject - red boat at the bottom?
